Just Do It. (A message from your BFF)

jen-and-lauren-january-2015

Today is the 19th day of the new year.

The past 19 days have FLOWN by. It has been awesome so far.

I made big goals for this year, I have a clear vision of what I want to accomplish this year. I made huge steps to put the past behind me. We have had our Horses-U goal setting webinars and talked to amazing women. I was able to go to Florida and take new pictures for TheHorseTrainingChannel.com site. Super excited, super pumped up, chomping at the bit rearing to go…

AND THEN

I froze.

Mind went blank.

Yep, didn’t get anything done to count for much for about 5 days.

I was going through the motions, but I was spinning my wheels. STUCK, yes, totally stuck (even after we just did a member webinar on Getting Un-Stuck, I still got STUCK!)

So last Friday, I had put in my schedule to go ride with friends. (With all of our internet work and building the new Horses-U, my horses have not been worked for about 3 months)

By Friday morning I had about talked myself out of going. There we many more reasons not to go then to go.

After all, I did need an oil change.

I needed a new pair of jeans.

The truck was dirty.

I had a headache.

Needed a haircut.

Hippo (my horse) needed a haircut.

You know, all kinds of very important things.

1:00 Friday afternoon. I still hadn’t left.

My best friend, Lauren, calls and says, “I can tell by the way you are talking, you are not coming. I think you just don’t want to do ride your horse for some reason. I don’t know why you just don’t put Hippo on the trailer and come”

What?! Ugh. Sometimes people who know you, know what you are thinking even if you don’t.

I knew my horse would be a bit of a hand full considering he had been on an extended vacation. And I just wasn’t looking forward to it.

So to prove her wrong, I finally throw my clothes and camera stuff in a bag, hook up the trailer, load up the horse. And headed out.

Long story short… It was awesome.

Yes, my horse was very naughty and extremely excited at first. But then he was back to himself.

We got over the hump. It wasn’t even that bad or hard.

So just in case you don’t have a Lauren in your life, to call you out on it, Kristin and I will be your best friend today, and tell you…

“Just do it”

You’ll be so glad you did!

it=anything you dream of doing but have been putting off

Remember a body in motion tends to stay in motion, so let’s get moving!
