Horse Dreams.

Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake. – Henry David Thoreau

Today we are thankful for DREAMS.

Dreams are our soul and spirit guiding us.

A dream is that feeling you get driving you from your gut or heart.

A dream is something that we work at to achieve and with every forward step towards that dream we feel more and more alive.

I believe in setting my dreams to the place it is I really want to be, the goal that if I could do or have anything in the world that would be it.

Why should a dream have to be managed or realistic?

I have found from personal experience when I can let me heart go crazy and imagine the impossible that is when things begin to all align to help work in that direction.

Once you have your dream imagined in your head, you can feel it in your heart, then you can begin to live it in your life.

It is that easy, make every choice and decision based on what it is your dream is and what you really want and make the decisions based on what feels right to get you closer to your dream.

Then next step in realizing your dream is to speak it and tell it to everyone.

It is amazing how the universe will answer, as well as how quickly as we begin to put that dream out there.

It is the commitment of talking it and sharing with others that helps us to own that dream.

I know in my own life I had a dream and waited to tell anyone as it felt a little silly, or even perhaps non realistic for where I was in my life. The minute I began to tell people, it started in a silly and playful way, about where I wanted to be and what I wanted to be doing it seemed as if the opportunities and answers to getting to that dream began to appear.

So  SHARE YOUR DREAM with others, feel it from your heart and speak from there.

We are never too far “off” from where we want to be to dream.

It maybe that I am working in retail, I have been for 25 years and it is very dependable. My dream however has always been to be a hairdresser, I love cutting hair, I love how I can give someone the gift of joy and happiness through my work. I think about my dream and it is much easier to talk myself out of why I should be dreaming that, ie. I have bills to pay, I need to be responsible, I would have to go back to school, and who says I could even make it or support myself doing that. that voice is our self doubt that tries to keep us doing the safe and easy things, it keeps us from taking risks, and therefore no chance of failure or heart ache.

Yet, at the same time it holds us from our dreams.

It is never too hard, too much of a change or not able to do, it is all how we choose to chase our dreams.

If it is running straight after them with abandoned joy and desire, or if it is carefully calculating one small step at a time, WE CAN ALL REACH OUR DREAMS.

I am thankful for dreams for they keep us moving forward, creating, asking for more, and making more joy.

Dreams are what give us hope, fill us with love and excitement and keep us reaching one step farther forward.

For all of that I am Thankful. I am thankful for the dreams I did not follow, the dreams that shifted with me and evolved into more than I could have thought up on my own.

Today, I ask you to share your Dreams with others, and day dream more dreams up for yourself.

My dream is to have a magical center filled with beautiful trees, bushes and plants. They would be along the beautiful walking path around the center, and filled with nature all around. A beautiful barn with our equine partners and cabins all around the meeting hall. This would be the space we could all come to, together to create our dreams.

Don’t forget to dream today.

Most days you will find me with a coffee in one hand, hot pink manure pick in the other with my mind bubbling over dreaming up ways to help my horse girl sisters find their true selves & ride their best life every. single. day.
