Everything has seasons – Time for pruning your life

“Everything has seasons, and we have to be able to recognize when something’s time has passed and be able to move into the next season. Everything that is alive requires pruning as well, which is a great metaphor for endings.”

– Henry Cloud

Roses to me are an amazing metaphor for life.

The more you pick them and enjoy them, the more they bloom.

Cut off the “dead heads” and dead branches that are sucking the growth out. New blooms that need the energy from the branches and new life springs forth.

What can you “prune” that is taking energy from your new life and goals right now?
